DESIGN+DIGITAL REHEARSAL STUDIO

The idea of environmental and digital REHEARSAL of fine and applied arts is explored at the Design+Digital Rehearsal Studio (DDRS), room 20 in Temple Buell Hall. Projects coming out of this REHEARSAL idea fall into two areas: Computing for the Arts (C4A) and the Environmental Rehearsal Lab (ERL).

DDRS is an advanced research and teaching facility for systematically creating and evaluating high-quality virtual environments for use by digital researchers, performers, environmental designers, artists, and scientists. This Studio has a number of high-end graphic workstations, Macintosh, Linux and Windows operating systems and a variety of advanced peripherals. The DDRS Steering Committee invites two types of proposals for using the Rehearsal Studio in innovative and creative ways.
